WELCOME TO MY WEB SITE

My studio, a fairly small but cosy workroom, is located in Amsterdam. It’s a place where many an animal comes to life. I have a clear preference for animals, particularly birds. I often go to Artis Zoo where I can quietly observe the animals. This is where I make my drawings and water colours. My oil paintings are only ever created in my studio.


Landscapes: I prefer painting somewhat cumbersome, jolly animals: cows and geese for example, sometimes in a landscape.

I also paint flowers and occasionally portraits.

I make my drawings of musicians during concerts which I then develop later in my studio.

 When I work I always have music in the background; my choice of music depends on the subject of my work.

Issue nos. 17, 52 and 98 of the magazine ‘ATELIER’ include examples of my drawings and some colour photos of my work.

Issue no. 228 of the magazine ‘Palet & tekenstift’ featured a number of colour photos of my work.
